How to Style Your Grey Tee for Spring

Spring is soooo close! (Right?) At least here it’s over freezing again and the forecast doesn’t show any signs of below zero windchill or snow, so I’m going with it. Today, I tried my first attempt at flat lays (ok, honestly my third or fourth, but I became too frustrated and got interrupted before I had some shots that I was willing to share! Stepping outside my comfort zone with this blog as it is, so here’s to continued learning…)

One of my favorite things to do is dress up a basic tee. Grey seems to be my go-to. After one of my favorites was worn out with holes in the bottom I ended up tossing it and just grabbed a new one from Target’s Universal Threads line.

If you love your grey tee, too or any neutral tee, consider these styling ideas as we move into spring.

Romantic Grey
Take your grey tee and pair it with some fun pink pants. Style with a statement necklace and your brown booties for an effortlessly, romantic look.

Cozy Grey
This look pairs your grey tee with your favorite distressed jeans and over-sized cardigan sweater. This cardigan has plenty going on so no need for extra embellishment. Don’t be afraid to add pattern, friends! These slouchy boots or a riding boot keep it casual and comfortable.

Basic Grey
Keep it simple and just add some light wash jeans and cute sneakers and you’re ready to head out the door. During spring I may add one of my (many) favorite jackets in the morning before the sun warms the day.

Hope these help you feel put together and not too basic. Now, what’s your favorite way to style your tees?

Have a great one. Here’s to you!
