3 Ways to Wear Shorts This Spring

It may still have been below freezing this morning in the Midwest, but we are all anxiously awaiting spring! Here are a few quick and simple ways to make your shorts work for you this season. Shorts are not my typical go-to, but these ones are! I specifically went out in search of them at J.Crew Factory, hoping they’d have them in stock again. I bought a smaller pair the summer before my last pregnancy when I was eating great and on my running schedule. I needed a different size and was sooooo happy when I found them! (Note – you may want to size down one in these shorts.)

Add Your Florals

I paired this 3/4 length floral top from JC Penney with the shorts, a cute wedge and my sunglasses. You could do this with any 3/4 or long sleeve top but florals are definitely still in and besides stripes are my favorite!

Don’t Forget Your Sweater, Honey

Sweater cardigans are still a great piece for the spring. Even with shorts! I love this easy look. It’s comfy and the best part is that it’s great for days when the sun is going to be out to warm up the latter part of the day, but you can stay cozy in your sweater when you’re out and about in the mornings.

A Simple Pullover

If it’s not quite the right weather for your sleeveless top AND shorts, use a pull over to still show the detail of a cute top and necklace.
